* Only property owners in good standing (dues paid) may make a reservation for family or guests. If the property owner is not in good standing as of April 1st, the reservations will be cancelled and their money refunded.
* Campground only available to members, family and guests.
* Reservations on a first come first serve basis.
* Reservations may be made up to one year in advance.
* $10.00 Refundable deposit required at time of reservation for electric campsite plug.
* 7th night free for staying 6 consecutive nights. No rain checks for the 7th night.
* Shelter reservations require 50% deposit at the time of reservation unless held by a credit or debit card.
* Campsite reservations must be paid within 7 business days to hold the reservation unless
   held with a credit or debit card.
* Check in/check out time is at 1:00 p.m.
* Animals allowed but are to remain on a leash at all times
* Only 1 camper facility per lot, not more than 8 people per campsite.
* A Campsite is permitted 1 picnic table and 1 electrical outlet (electric sites only)
   No doubling up on electric plugs or running extension cords to non-electric sites.
* Not more than 2 vehicles will be permitted per campsite. Each vehicle shall be
   registered on the camp permit. Visitors are to park in the visitor parking area.
* Parking in designated areas only. No parking in any of the roads within the campground.
   The road must be kept open for traffic and emergencies.
* Containers must be kept under drains and emptied at designated areas
* Washing of anything at the water pumps or in the lake is not permitted (people, pets, dishes, vehicles, ect.)
* All trash must be bagged and placed in the designated area.
* Campfires are to be in fire rings or designated areas only.
* Firearms and/or bows are allowed during small and/or large game season only. 
    They must not be discharged or loaded within the confines of the campground.
    Failure to adhere to this rule will result in loss of privileges and notification to the DNR or    Sheriff's Department.
* NO camp may be established for more than 14 consecutive nights.
* Check in with the office prior to setting up your campsite, if you arrive after office hours,
   you are to check in with the office at 9:00 AM the next morning.
* Guests of the property owners in good standing are permitted use of the campground
   when space is available and if the property owner is in  residence.
   The property owner must make the arrangement for guest registration and passes.
* Non-registered persons must leave the campground by 10:00 PM.
* Quiet time will be observed from 11pm to 8am.
* Campground permits must be displayed on a site post.
* Prior approval from the office is required to move from one campsite to another.
* NO ORV's are allowed to be driven in the campground area. They may be brought in on
   trailers and transported elsewhere to be used. Only licensed vehicles are allowed.
* Docking of watercraft is in designated areas only.
* No firewood cutting without a written permit.
* Current rates are available at the office.
* Members and guests who are in violation of the Rules and Regulations will be asked to leave.
   NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.

* $25.00 refundable cleaning deposit required for all cabins.
* 7th night free
* $10.00 surcharge for cabin rentals from November 1st through March 31st.
* Only a property owner in good standing may make a reservation for family or guests by  phone,  e-mail, or in person.
* Reservations will be taken up to 1 year in advance and a 50% deposit muse be paid within 7
    business days after making the reservation to hold the reservation.
* Any number of reservations may be made
* Reservations must be canceled 3 weeks or more in advance of the reservation date to receive a full refund. Reservations canceled within 3 weeks of the reservation date will receive a refund only if the cabin is rented for the same date. Disagreements with refund requests will be presented to the Board of Directors for action.
* No cabin may be occupied for more than 14 consecutive nights during 1 reservation.
* A cabin may not be occupied overnight by more people than the reservation was made for.
* Check-in time: 3:00 PM
   Check-out time: 11:00 AM
   Check in at the office if arriving before 5:00PM. Otherwise, by 9:00 AM the next day.
* If by April 1st, the property owner is not in good standing all of his/her reservations are canceled and their money will be refunded.
* The property owner will be responsible for any damages incurred during the time of occupancy by his/her family and/or guests.
* No pets of any kind are permitted inside the cabins.
* Current rental rates are available at the office or our website
* Radios, TVs or parties are to be kept at a personal and reasonable volume inside and outside of the cabins.
* Cooking and bonfires outside of the cabins are to be done in designated areas only.
* Members and guests who are in violation of the Rules and Regulations will be asked to leave.
   NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN!
* The 7th night is free when renting 6 consecutive nights. There are no rain checks for the 7th night.
* Quiet time will be observed from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

* Available for private parties during the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m for a fee of $100.00 and a $100.00 security deposit. Release of liability for Lake of the Pines must be signed and submitted to office prior to reservation date.

Swimming Pool and Bathhouse Rules: (
STATE OF MICHIGAN HEALTH DEPARTMENT RULES)
*No one with a skin eruption, open blister, infection or communicable disease, bandage, cold sore, or inflamed eyes shall be permitted in the swimming pool. A person in such condition may be granted use of the pool upon presentation of a physician's written statement that the condition is not communicable.
* Bathers are to use the designated entrance to the pool area. No entry/exit is allowed to the pool through the maintenance gate.
* A cleansing shower, in the nude, using soap and warm water and rinsing thoroughly shall be taken before entering the pool enclosure (removal of sun tan lotion/oil by sun bathers included). A person leaving the pool area to use the toilet facilities shall take another cleansing shower before returning to the pool area.
* Running, boisterous or rough play shall not be permitted in the pool enclosure or bath house.
* No shoes or street clothes shall be permitted within the pool area except by the Lake of the Pines staff.
* No smoking is permitted within the pool area.
* No food, drinks, alcoholic beverages, soap, lotions (of any kind) or glass containers, etc. are permitted in the pool area. If lotions are used, item 3 must be complied with.
* Only clean proper bathing attire shall be permitted in the pool. No cut-off blue jeans, diapers
   (unless swim diapers) etc. are permitted in the pool.
* A person shall not spit or otherwise pollute pool water or related facilities.
* No pets or other animals are permitted in the pool area or bath house, except for a dog trained
   to assist the handicapped.
* The Pool Pump Room is to be entered only by authorized personnel.
* The proceding rules are set down by the State of Michigan Health Department and must be obeyed. Failure to comply could result in loss of pool privileges.

Swimming Pool Rules ( Association Rules):
* To use this facility, you must have your ID card or guest pass. All non-members will pay for a pool pass regardless of age.

NO CARD OR PASS - NO ENTRY!
* Supervised water sports are permitted at the discretion of the pool monitor.
* Radios, CD/tape players, etc. are to be kept at a personal and reasonable volume.
* Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult, 18 years or older, when in the pool area.
* Flotation Devices-Only USCG approved life jackets and child arm floats are allowed in the pool for safety reasons. Individuals wearing floation devices will remain in the shallow end of the pool (behind the caution rope).
* NO diving or jumping in the pool. This is a requirement of our insurance company.


Pavilion

Pavilion Rental - $25.00/day

Tennis Court

Tennis Court:
All tennis players must have a membership card or guest pass. One hour of play maximum is allowed to each group when other members/guests are waiting to play.


Recreation Equipment:

Recreation equipment may be obtained from the office or other designated areas at no charge. The equipment will be signed out after showing proper ID and the person signing the equipment out is responsible  for its returned by the scheduled time. Any damage or unreturned item will be billed to the property owner. Lake of the Pines reserves the right not to load out equipment and/or to suspend the use, once loaned out.

Pontoon Island

Dock Rental       $150.00/season

* There is a waiting list for those interested in renting a dock on Pontoon Island.

Pontoon Island:
Effective November 1, 1995, no recreational vehicles or any items may be on Pontoon Island. This area is for the docking of watercraft only. Only members in good standing may utilize this facility for docking after obtaining the necessary permit from the office. Watercraft must display a current MC number and Lake of the Pines identification.

Any vehicle on Pontoon Island (parked or driving through), must have a current Lake of the Pines sticker.

No storage of boat trailers or any other items are allowed on Pontoon Island.

Play Ground

At Lake of the Pines we have something for everyone.

* Please note: all children under 12 years of age MUST be supervised at all times while playing at the playground or pool area.

Recreation Hall

This is our Recreation Hall

It is available for members to rent for any special occasion.

$200.00 per day/$200.00 refundable security deposit is required.
* A Limited Liability insurance binder naming Lake of the Pines as beneficiary in the amount of $500,000.00 must be obtained and submitted to the office in advance if serving beverages during rental of the Rec Hall facility.
